Samuel Returns To Nilandhoo As Vice Captain

Samuel Lamptey returns to Nilandhoo as vice captain after a stint in Thailand's Police United.
The experienced defender has played in Thailand league even winning the 'Best Defender award' in 2013 playing for Police United. The 32 year old defender is set to be Nilandhoo's vice captain according to sources at Nilandhoo. Lamptey left Nilandhoo at the end of last season to join Police United at Thailand and returns to feature after the international break for the Nilandhoo.
Lamptey was the rock in Nilandhoo's defense last season guiding the team to an impressive sixth place in the Dhivehi Premier League. This season Nilandhoo's defense was the problem at the beginning conceding a whopping forty three goals in twelve matches. Nilandhoo are second from bottom, but the signing of Lamptey will no doubt be bad news to other Premier League teams. With former New Radiant defender Kingsley already tremendously improving the Nilandhoo defense since arriving late into the season, Lamptey can only make Nilandhoo stronger.
