Suzain Appointed As Maldives U-23 Coach

 Ali Suzain has been appointed as the Head Coach of Maldives Under-23 Team.

The veteran coach will be assisted by former Club Valencia boss Sobah Mohamed and former Valencia and Maldives Under-16 Coach Mohamed Shahid(Shaadu). Maldives will take on Iraq Afghanistan and Bahrain in Group- C of AFC Under-23 qualifiers.

Suzain is one of the most successful coaches in the Maldives in regards to trophies won.  After glamorous stints with Victory Sports Club and Maziya Suzain moved to Green Streets from where he was appointed nation team assistant to Martin Koopman. Suzain also worked as the Director of National Teams, when Maldives won third place in the AFC Challenge Cup.
